Modern Dog - Excerpt from 'Masters of Poster Design' (Rockport)

I particularly like the example in the top left. The fuzzy background makes the small text and logo in the middle really stand out, which may have been lost if put on a regular background. This means that the logo can be kept small without losing its edge. I like the contrast shown here, and how the colours are kept simple, yet contrasting.
Looking at these examples has shown me that using a limited colour palette can be very rewarding in poster design.
